In the finale of our March Madness Facebook Game Faceoff 2012, we have what can only be described as shocking turn of events. We have a finals match-up between [Bejeweled Blitz][2] by [PopCap, ][3]a returning finalist from 2011 that's seems determined to win it all, and [Wooga][4]'s [Diamond Dash][5], another match-3 game that's taken Facebook by storm in recent months.
Bejeweled Blitz smoked Angry Birds [in Round 3][6], and Diamond Dash beat Bubble Island by several hundred votes. Another thing worth pointing out, this is the second year that no Zynga game have made it to the finals, which is amazing considering its game make up half the field and all of the higher seeded games. To say that this finals match-up is a Cinderella story is an understatement. Let the battle of the Match-3s begin!
