More than 100,000 crimes in the U.K. have been linked to Facebook over the past five years, and crimes related to the social network have skyrocketed 540 percent over the past three years, according to an infographic from [Criminal Justice Degrees Guide][1].

Our favorite on the list of crimes detailed in the infographic below: A 16-year-old male faced jail time for posting on Facebook about a prank he played that resulted in flooded [toilets][2] at a public library, $247,000 in damage, and a five-month closure.
