Game Players Dash To Diamond Dash Via Facebook

[![][1]][2][Diamond Dash][3] developer Wooga said the percentage of players of its social arcade game who choose to connect to Facebook has soared to 64 percent at the end of March, from 28 percent in December.

[Wooga][4] [][5]added that Diamond Dash players who log on via Facebook are eight times more likely to spend money while playing the game, and they spend 50 percent more than the average user.

Game players using iOS devices such as Apple's iPhone and iPad are taken directly to the Diamond Dash application after clicking on notifications in Facebook, and Wooga said players were directed to the app from Facebook more than 18.5 million times in March alone.

According to [AppData][6], Diamond Dash currently totals 18.2 million monthly average users.

The game's social features include:

* Synchronized scores between the mobile and flash versions.
* Real-time leader boards.
* The ability to send gifts to friends playing Diamond Dash on desktop computers from mobile devices.
