Unlike the Chicken Coops in [FarmVille][4], [Pioneer Trail][5] and countless other Facebook games, that actually allow storage for chickens on your respective farms, homesteads or lands, the CastleVille Chicken Coop **does not allow you to store chickens **within it, as of this writing. This is more than a bit misleading, due to the item's description in the store the speaks of giving your chickens "a place to call home." For 20 Crowns, you'll end up with a mostly decorative Chicken Coop that can be harvested once daily for Fertilizer, but little else.
It's extremely unfortunate that this is the case, as the chicken is one of the most prevalent animals in the entire game, and I'm sure I'm not alone in saying that a storage solution for these chickens would definitely be appreciated. If and when this changes, and a true storage option comes out for our chickens (or any other animals in the game), we'll make sure to let you know. For now, though, save your Crowns unless you really want that free daily dose of Fertilizer.
**
Would you pay Crowns for this Coop if it really did offer Chicken storage in your Kingdom? Sound off in the comments.
