Black Friday Deals To Surface On Facebook Via Payvment

[![][1]][2]Facebook shoppers looking for Black Friday deals may want to consider pounding the [Payvment][3], as the Facebook commerce platform is unveiling a special section in its shopping mall devoted to the biggest shopping day of the year.

Starting at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time Friday, Facebook shoppers will be able to access the special [Black Friday deals][4] page, which will offer discounts on items including jewelry and electronics.

Payvment has experienced a 30 percent increase in Facebook shopper traffic since the beginning of November, as well as a 25 percent rise in social discussion and sharing in its [shopping mall][5].

The company has amore than 100,000 active sellers using its platform to offer more than 2.4 million searchable products on Facebook.

Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer Christian Taylor added:

Consumers are starting to think of Facebook as a holiday shopping destination, and we hope to encourage that behavior by making it incredibly easy to find unique gifts and great deals from a large number of sellers.

In the past, Black Friday and Cyber Monday have been the domain of the big-box retailers, but now, with the shopping mall, we're helping the boutique sellers by aggregating and promoting their deals for consumers all in one place on Facebook.
